Begun around 500 years ago,
CASA SIN NOMBRE was the first house
to be built outside the protection of the
massive 1000 year-old Town Wall. |
On
the quieter South side of the Old Town, we enjoy
astonishing views across conservation
land to the sea and to Africa beyond. On a clear
day, you can see the Riff Mountains in Morocco
and, by night, you can see twinkling lights on
the horizon. This is Tangier.

Our
Andalucian Patio House owes much to the
area's history of Moorish occupation: |
|
ð |
Inside the ancient double doors is the
Zaguan - a shady entrance vestibule. |
|
ð |
Down the steps, under the stone
arch, into the patio - a cool, central, open
courtyard. |
|
ð |
The ground floor apartments lead
off and two open staircases lead up to the 1st
floor. |
|
ð |
A 3rd staircase leads to roof
terraces from a pretty veranda. Here you will
find sun beds, tables & chairs and a shower.
Panoramic views from the roof are breath-taking.
