The
following terms and conditions are required for
Health and Safety and legal reasons, and to satisfy
the terms of our
insurance. Please read the conditions
carefully, as the issuing of keys for your
accommodation is dependant upon
you paying any outstanding balance and signing
this rental agreement when you arrive. If you
decline to sign the agreement on arrival, you
will be deemed to have cancelled your booking
and you will not be entitled to any refund of
payments made.
If you have any
queries, we will be happy to explain.
Whilst in our house, we invite you to relax and
treat your apartment as your home. We ask only
that you respect the peace
and privacy of other guests. There are no
additional charges for any of the facilities
available. We look forward
to seeing you.

I
understand that the apartment will be available
from 3:00 pm on the
day of arrival and that I must vacate it by
11:00 am
on my day of departure
I understand that my latest possible time of
arrival, on my first night, is 11:00 pm. After
this time, I will be unable to gain access to my
apartment.
I have paid the
following amount to secure the booking (see
booking form) - €
I understand that the accommodation is
self-catering and that meals are not provided. I
also understand that the house is not staffed
full time. I accept that house-keeping staff
will be available for 2-3 hours but not every
day.
I understand that I will receive a telephone
number in case of emergency. If the problem
requires a call-out, I understand that there I
will be charged 15 euros (rising to 30 euros
between 10:00 pm and 10:00 am) unless the
proprietor or agent is expressly proven to have
caused the emergency
I agree to return
all the keys for the property to the proprietor
or agent on my departure day. I understand that
I will be issued with one set of keys (main
entrance, apartment door(s), safety deposit
box). I understand that I may be able to have a
second set of keys subject to payment of a 20
euro deposit which will be refunded when I
return both sets of keys at the end of my stay.
I understand that common areas must be kept tidy
and clear of personal items (luggage, bicycles
etc.) at all times and that washing may only be
dried on the laundry lines provided on the roof
Should there be any problem related to the
proprietor’s property that creates a safety or
security issue, I agree to report it
to the
owner or agent immediately. Appropriate action
to resolve the problem will be taken as soon as
possible.
In the event that
any of the proprietor’s property, fixtures and
fittings and any appliances (inventory available
on request) are damaged by myself, members of my
party, or my guests, I understand that:
1. All costs incurred by the proprietor
relating to the correction of any and all damage
caused during the rental period will be payable
by me.
2. I agree to tell the holiday home
proprietor or agent of any breakages, or damage
as soon as is practical
I agree that I will not assign or sublet the
property, or any part there-of, and will not
engage in any illicit or illegal activity whilst
renting the property
I understand that any children in my party must
be 12 years old or over
I understand that guests under the age of 18
years may not occupy an apartment without a
responsible adult sharing and supervising them.
I also understand that guests under the age of
18 must never be left in the house unsupervised
I understand that, because of the age of the
property, there are some features which do not
conform to modern building standards – e.g. Low
or narrow doorways, irregular steps etc. – and
require caution when moving around the house
I agree that the proprietor will bear no
liability to myself, or any member of my party,
or my guests, for any injury sustained whilst
using the property and its facilities unless
expressly proven to be negligent
I agree that the proprietor will bear no
liability for any damage to or loss of our
property, how so ever caused, during the
term of
this contract unless expressly proven to be
negligent
I will ensure that my apartment is properly
locked when I am away from it - even elsewhere
in the house. I understand that all passports,
tickets, money, small valuable items etc. will
be locked in the safety deposit box provided
I agree that, regardless of the size of the
accommodation, only the number of people
specified on the booking form will be entitled
to stay in the apartment except with the express
prior agreement of the proprietor or agent
